Kathleen DeBord High-Fired Pottery Collection

Discover the vibrant world of K. DeBord Pottery, where color and creativity come to life through the skilled hands of Kathleen, a seasoned artist with over 35 years of experience. Kathleen’s work is a celebration of the beauty she finds in birds, gardens, plants, and produce, all brought to life with her signature use of bright and cheery colors that can transform any table into a festive display.

Kathleen’s journey began in her garage, where she founded her business decades ago. Since 1995, she has been working out of her Carmel Valley studio, where she meticulously handles every step of the pottery-making process. From mixing the clay to the final firing, each piece reflects her dedication and passion for the craft. "I love painting the work and seeing it transform," Kathleen says. "It's what I love to do!"

A native Californian, Kathleen holds a Fine Arts Degree from California State University, Fresno, and a master’s degree in art education. She lives in the Carmel Highlands with her husband, artist Keith Lindberg. Kathleen’s pottery has been featured in both national catalogs and small, individually owned shops. She has a special fondness for smaller accounts where she can build personal connections with her customers.

Now, you can bring home a piece of Kathleen's joyful artistry with her exclusive "Noisy Neighbors" collection, made specifically for Island Art Gallery.
